Twelve attention and memory exercises, adapted to you
Twelve short exercises for attention, working memory, processing speed, spatial reasoning and verbal fluency — among them N-back, the Schulte table and the Stroop test. Each exercise keeps its own rating for you: a good round pushes the difficulty up, a bad one eases it off, so the task stays a little past what you can already do rather than boring or defeating you.
A session does not simply repeat what you just did. Exercises you have not touched for a while come first, along with the ones where your recent accuracy sits in the 60–80% band, and the selection is shuffled rather than grouped by type. There is also a three-minute Daily Warm-Up: one round of all twelve, each scaled to your current level.
This is an educational tool, not a medical device. The exercises are drawn from published work — the Science page names a source for each — but cognitive training has not been shown to prevent or treat neurological conditions, and the brain-training industry has taken fair scientific criticism for suggesting otherwise. For medical concerns, talk to a healthcare professional.
